Question:  How do I fix a leaky faucet?

Answer:  There are many things that can cause a leaky faucet. The packing nut may not be tight enough; the packing or vacuum breaker may be worn out and needs to be replaced, etc.  If you cannot determine where the leak is coming from, please call us at 800-308-0864.  Our knowledgeable staff can help to determine the problem and show you which repair kit you need to purchase.

Question:  Is an outdoor faucet or hydrant repair easy to do?

Answer:  If you need to repair a Woodford product, we have a library of how-to videos to walk you through the steps.   All of our yard hydrants can be repaired from the top of the unit so you are not required to take it out of the ground.

Question:  What is a Pressure Relief Valve (PRV)?

Answer:  Our Patented Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) prevents the faucet tube from bursting in freezing conditions, even if a hose is left connected to the faucet.  We have a video demonstrating how the PRV works in the faucet tube.
